Pulling Jobs

Bullhorn jobs are comprised of different “fields” where the data is stored. One of the first things we’ll confirm with the client is which fields they want to pull through in their jobs. These fields are used for filtering and search capabilities on the job board and to display job information on the job pages.

  • Standard fields include: Job Title, Job Description, Job Type, Location, Salary, Brands, Specialty, Sector/Industry/Category, Job ID, Owner, Assigned Recruiter
  • For any fields outside of the standard fields listed above, the PM team will need to confirm if they are ‘custom fields’. Custom fields are fields unique to the client and not provided in Bullhorn as standard. If they are using ‘Custom Fields’ we will need to know the exact field names in Bullhorn in order to access them via the API. You can find the custom field names under the options menu in Bullhorn.

Some clients might have a sandbox environment to test applications with, while with some we will just test using their live environment – after confirming they are okay with this. While most clients don’t have a sandbox, very large clients do. In which case, we would need to confirm their sandbox login information (is it the same credentials as the Bullhorn login?)
